Claremont Speedway 1958, ' Skeeter ' Yates in TQ1 with Wally Higgs in # 11.
TQ # 1 was the first TQ to be registered in W.A.
Bruce Rickard, NZ Champ. at Claremont in the late 1950s.
W.A.'s Laurie Matthews aged 16, in his first drive in a midget.
Harry Neale in the #1 Repco Holden. This was the car Frank ' Satan ' Brewer brought to Australia in 1949 as
the blue Eddie Meyer Ford V860 # 10, it was then
re numbered to Frank's famous # 99.

It is now restored as the NSW # 2 Big BERCO Repco Holden and runs in vintage events nation wide.
Johnny Hamilton runs in front in car # WA 12. Johnny a W.A. champ usually drove car #12 but was killed at Claremont on 15.2.1957 in car # WA 14.
